the sandal maker has come--first cherry blossoms!

The peddlers come according to the seasons (a peddler doesn't have a shop and sells things by carrying them from place to place). As spring approaches this year, too, the regular sandal maker came and informed us about the cherry blossoms, saying, ‘in such and such places the buds are about to bloom.’
